MELBOURNE: The Victorian Electoral Commission has appointed Grey Melbourne to its creative account for the 2010 state election.
Grey won the business following a pitch that included JWT, George Patterson Y&R and Publicis Mojo.
It is the fourth time in five years Grey has won the work for the state elections.
Grey Melbourne general manager Randal Glennon said the exciting aspect for the campaign for the election to take place on 27 November, is the big role social media will play.
“In the last election social media wasn't even on the horizon,” Glennon said.
Maxus handles media for the Victorian Electoral Commission.
