Verizon Media has promoted Rachel Page to general manager, sales of Australia and New Zealand, expanding her current national remit to include New Zealand.

In the new position Page will be responsible for the commercial and operational activities across teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

She will continue to be based in Melbourne.

In her new role Page will continue to report to Verizon Media vice president of ANZ INSEA Paul Sigaloff, and oversee New Zealand sales director Arnaud Calonne and director of operations and technology Justin Orchard.

“I’m incredibly excited and looking forward to my new regional remit," Page says.

"This promotion is a testament to the entire team’s amazing work and commitment to a human and helpful approach in everything they do. I’m looking forward to building on our current momentum and creating more meaningful relationships with new and existing clients.”

The news comes just months after Sigaloff was promoted from his ANZ managing director position to a leadership role in the wider APAC region.

“I’m immensely proud and excited to share the news of Rachel’s promotion to a broader leadership position across the business. It should come as no surprise given the growth trajectory we’re on and the positive impact she’s had on our business over the past year," Sigaloff says.

“Rachel is an authentic, people-first leader whose passion extends beyond our organisation and into the wider industry. She’s widely respected in market for her human and helpful approach and I can’t wait to see what larger impact she’ll achieve in this new role.”

Page also sits on the UnLtd Melbourne Board, is part of the IAB Mentor program and hosts the Verizon Media Academy virtual masterclass series.
