Urban List has announced its expansion into Singapore with a new platform, Urban List Singapore.
The platform is a collaboration between Urban List and Singapore Tourism Board.
The venture, which has been almost three years in the making, will provide editorial, social and video content to celebrate the country’s culinary culture, nightlife and style scene.
The new platform signals Urban List’s expansion into Asia, in addition to its existing portfolio of 12 destinations across Australia and New Zealand.
“Singapore has always been top of our list for expansion — a place that epitomises our love for great food, fun, design and adventure,” says Urban List founder and CEO Susannah George.
“Seeing Urban List move into such a vibrant and innovative market (and a place I love) is a dream way to celebrate our 10th anniversary year, and I’m so proud to see our voice influencing buying, booking and eating behaviours internationally.”
Urban List head of studio Elise Cullen has led the partnership for the new platform.
“It’s an honour to have the chance to curate and contribute to such a dynamic social scene — millions are going to see Singapore through a fresh, new lens; a spotlight it truly deserves,” Cullen says.
“I’m also curious to see what clues user data may offer when it comes to how Australians are really viewing international travel now. Personally, I just can’t wait to get back over there.”
