Kristy Mansfield has been appointed general manager WA of social purpose organisation UnLtd.
Mansfield joins from SCA where she has been heading the agency sales team for the last eight years.
UnLtd’s current general manager WA, Carol Morris, will be moving to a board role.
She is joined by two new directors – Simone Woodward, manager of marketing and communications at RAC, and Jim Groves, managing director Perth at Carat.
“Since we launched UnLtd in Perth last year, Carol has done a phenomenal job in bringing the WA industry together for good and establishing UnLtd as the industry’s own social purpose organisation in the WA market," says Chris Freel, UnLtd's CEO.
"We are grateful to have Carol’s continued support as one of our board directors as we move on to the next exciting stage.
“We are delighted to have secured someone of Kristy’s calibre to the role. Her energy, drive, industry connections and passion for helping children at risk will be instrumental in growing our presence and impact in WA.”
Chris Eyres, director of the UnLtd WA board: “I am delighted to see Kristy accept the role as GM of UnLtd Perth. Kristy is one of Perth media’s most well regarded and much loved sales professionals. She will build on the great foundation that Carol Morris has started with UnLtd and raise the profile even further to help make a huge difference in the lives of young people at risk.”
Mansfield will start as general manager WA in early March. Her key focus will be growing industry partnerships, expanding the UnLtd event portfolio and growing the impact that the industry has on helping young people at risk.
“I’m so excited to be joining UnLtd," she says. "I’ve been a keen supporter of the work UnLtd do for a while and I can’t wait to start using my skills and networks to bring our industry together to help even more children at risk.”
Carol Morris said: “In the last year, despite all the challenges COVID has thrown at us, the WA industry has rallied together to use our skills for good and make a real difference for young people at risk. We’ve got some big plans for 2021, including the introduction of several new industry events and we are so excited to have Kristy leading the charge and welcome industry heavy weights Simone and Jim to the board.”
The next UnLtd event in Perth, the UnLtd Big Clash cricket tournament, is on March 4 at Leederville Oval. Limited player spots remain and can be secured by contacting hannah@unltd.org.au.
