UnLtd, the social purpose organisation for the media, marketing and creative industries, has announced new co-chairs for its board of directors.

Adam Furness, APAC managing director at Impact.com, will be sharing the role with Rebecca Darley, CMO at Domain.

Furness and Darley will be taking over from Danny Bass, CEO of Dentsu Media ANZ, who has held the chairman position for last two years.

Darley said: “I’m delighted to be taking on the role of Co-Chair at such an exciting time of growth for UnLtd.

“It’s been a big few years for UnLtd with expansion to new states and most recently to New Zealand, the growth in the core business areas of events, campaigns and social impact partnerships and of course the launch of our industry’s first social enterprise, MOOD Tea.

“Creating a better future for the next generation is something I’m personally incredibly passionate about. I’m looking forward to help steer UnLtd as we bring the industry together to create an even bigger impact for young people at risk."

Furness said: “UnLtd is all about creating shared value through our partnerships and as more and more businesses realise the benefits that giving back has for their staff and business, we are seeing more companies across the industry wanting to get involved with UnLtd.

“It’s our role to harness that talent and influence to create meaningful positive impact for our charity partners who are helping some of the most vulnerable young people in the country.

The need for help is greater than ever and our industry has a unique opportunity to create real positive change. I’m excited to be able to play a bigger role in shaping the future of UnLtd and the incredible impact our industry can generate when we work together.”

Kerry McCabe, founder of UnLtd said: “Adam and Bec have tirelessly served UnLtd for 16 and 10 years respectively.

“They epitomise UnLtd’s values and will undoubtedly quide the organisation to new levels of excellence. They have the perfect skill set to drive our future strategy that is focused on growing MOOD, optimising our core business and mobilising the UnLtd village.

“We would like to thank Danny for his ongoing passion and commitment to UnLtd over the years and most recently as the Chair and we are delighted to have him continue to serve as a Director on the UnLtd Board.”
