Joshua Lowcock, the global chief media officer of UM, has been appointed chairman of the ASX-listed advertising fraud specialist Adveritas.
Lowcock currently serves as a non-executive director of Accent Group Limited and as non-executive director of Cashrewards Limited. He previously served as a non-executive director of Prime Media Group Limited.
His appointment to Adveritas, whose main product is TrafficGuard, follows the retirement of former company chairman Stephen Belben after eight years on the board.
“In my meetings with (CEO) Mathew Ratty and the Adveritas leadership team, I have been impressed by Adveritas’s main product TrafficGuard and the potential for the offering to scale internationally," says Lowcock.
"I look forward to providing strong guidance to management on how to ensure TrafficGuard can build on its momentum with advertisers increasingly demanding accountability from performance media.”
ASX-listed company in February raised $6.5 million to fund new product development.
Adveritas in June reported revenue of $3.9 million, more than 130% growth in annualised revenue since January 2022.
Co-founder and CEO Mat Ratty then said Adveritas’ enterprise level pipeline is at record highs across all products.
"Combined with our ongoing efforts to both increase the trial pipeline and compress the sales cycle, we are in a strong position to execute on these opportunities," he said.
