Toyota has its digital account out to pitch, according to industry insiders.
R/GA, Publicis Groupe and at least one independent agency are reported in the running.
“Toyota Australia is unable to comment on this matter,” the vehicle company said.
AdNews has sought comment from Publicis and R/GA.
Toyota, which uses a range of agencies for different sectors, is a top 20 advertiser by spend in Australia, according to Nielsen. Motor vehicles advertising comes in at $270.9 million a year.
Spark Foundry is the media agency for Toyota and Lexus.
Saatchi & Saatchi does brand and select product portfolios. Dentsu Creative leads retail and Hero has also been appointed for select product portfolios.
