Tourism Tasmania has opened its creative account to pitch.
The state tourism body is calling for agencies to submit for its lead creative agency contract, with the successful candidate to deliver creative and strategic work that connects travellers emotionally and culturally with the state to drive visitation.
The contract will be for up to seven years, with an initial three-year term starting in February 2025, followed by two optional two-year extensions.
BMF was appointed as lead creative agency in 2019, creating Tourism Tasmania's long-standing Come Down for Air platform.
The campaigns called on Australians to break free from the stresses of modern life and feel more human again. An invitation to "Come Down for Air".
The agency's latest 'Off Season' 2024 platform featured a series of winter ‘heroes’ set against backdrops of unique Tasmanian experiences.
The successful agency will work with Tourism Tasmania to deliver a creative marketing program that sets the state apart in a competitive national and international destination marketing sector.
Interested agencies can download the Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) documents and submit an REOI through the Tasmanian Government tender website.
Submissions close 2pm on August 1.
