Meta CEO and co-founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has announced that Threads is testing a new search experience in ANZ that enables users to search using text.
The test begins today, with plans to expand to other English-speaking countries as soon as possible. Instagram is also actively listening to the community’s feedback and working on more features to improve the search experience.
Zuckerberg took to the latest social media platform itself to break the news.
"Get excited -- search is coming to Threads," he said.
Other users on Threads shared their thoughts on the update, stating: "One step closer to dethrone Twitter" and "Then hashtags- please!"
