Thomas Hutley promoted national head of OMD Create

Thomas Hutley has been promoted to National Head of OMD Create, a specialised business unit dedicated to creative solutions including content marketing, sponsorships, social, innovation and sports partnerships .

The unit works with McDonald’s, Coles, Suncorp, Telstra, AAMI, Estee Lauder Companies, NSW Government, Bacardi Martini Group and DuluxGroup.

OMD Create has recently had success with fast content creative positioning and delivery of short-form creative solutions, optimised across mobile and social media formats. This was recognised in OMD Create being the first media agency in APAC to become a certified Facebook MobileWorks Creative Partner.

“I’m thrilled to be working more closely with our OMD Create leads in Melbourne and Brisbane to expand our capability and evolve the OMD Create brand nationally,” says Hutley.

“I look forward to seeing what more we can achieve together and to continue pushing the boundaries of creative work that we deliver for our clients.”

Hutley launched OMD Create in 2018 and has led the Sydney arm for three continuous years, which has delivered growth and award winning work for OMD clients.

He will now oversee the OMD Create product across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane leading a team of 32 people. Hutley is tasked with expanding OMD Create’s capabilities nationally.Thomas Hutley
