Third radio ratings: Sydney stations up, Melbourne stations down

Survey 3 radio ratings results from GfK, the official provider of radio ratings for Commercial Radio Australia (CRA), have been released.

In Sydney, KIIS1065 rose to 13.0 from 11.5, while 2GB rose to 12.2 from 11.8. Smoothfm 95.3 also cracked double digits, finishing at 10.8 in comparison to 9.7 in Survey 2. On the breakfast slot, the Kyle & Jackie O Show reversed their Survey 2 drop, rising to 17.9 from 15.1, while 2GB's Ben Fordham climbed slightly to 15.0 from 14.7.

In Melbourne, 3AW dropped to 15.3 from 16.3 and GOLD 104.3 also fell to 11.1 from 11.6, continuing the downward trends seen in Survey 2. The 3AW Breakfast with Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft saw a decline to 19.5 from 21.1, while GOLD104.3 and The Christian O’Connell Show saw their share decrease to 10.8 from 11.1; both shows also declined in share in Survey 2.
