Facing the tribunal this week is a safety-themed ad from Allianz.

If you were asked to imagine a "safer world", what would your mind concoct? No disease, famine or poverty? No war? No Charlie Sheen? Well, Allianz's recent "A World of Protection" TVC by MercerBell imagines a safer existence where everyone's cars are inflatable toys. Unfortunately, Adelaide agency Showpony released a similar ad last year for Bridgestone Tyres where cars are depicted as fairground bumper cars.
Verdict
The Allianz voiceover says: "If we could, we'd create a world that protects you. In the meantime we're protecting you every way we can." Meanwhile, the Bridgestone voiceover says: "We all want to live in a safer world. Until the world becomes that, choose the safer tyre." Inflatable cars and bumper cars might not be exactly the same thing, but it's a little close for comfort.
Sentence
MercerBell creatives must go for a long bike ride in the breakdown lane of the M4 in peak hour.
