Real-time programmatic marketing group The Trade Desk, trying to hire scarce talent, has launched an Australian employment campaign.

Job vacancy rates for digital advertising and adtech industry roles have more than doubled in the last year, reaching 9.8%, according to IAB Australia.

“To attract the right talent, organisations must identify what their employees really want and reimagine their value proposition to deliver on these expectations,” says James Bayes, general manager of The Trade Desk ANZ.

“Trusted journalism, premium television and quality music rely on advertising to fund their content. This is why we’re committed to making digital advertising better, because the future of the open internet depends on it.

“We are a values-based organisation that is focused on preserving a free and open internet, and our people are at the centre of this mission.

“The skills and talent we want to bring in should represent those values as we continue to grow and scale our business.”

The campaign will be supported by a number of executions aimed at educating potential employees on the core values of The Trade Desk.

The commercial asks: "Why come to work at The Trade Desk? Because challenging the status quo and keeping the internet open matters. Because challenging yourself and being yourself matters. Because your next move – and what you do – matters."
