The Queensland government's creative advertising account is about to go to pitch.

A forward procurement notice was released Friday.

An invitation to apply will be released in April, via a separate notice on the Queensland Procurement Solution (powered by VendorPanel).

Appointed agencies will work under a Preferred Supplier Panel (PSP) model which provides full-service advertising for behavioural change and/or information/awareness campaigns.

Services to be included: creative strategy; creative direction; account management; creative development and creative production.

Suppliers must also be able to offer all of the following: television, radio, cinema, press, out-of-home (including digital Out-of-home) and digital marketing (including social media).

Standalone services for graphic design, promotional items, photography, videography, writing and editorial, event management; will not be included.

In June last year, GroupM's EssenceMediacom retained the Queensland government's media account after a statutory review.

Queensland is the third-largest state government account in Australia behind NSW and Victoria and one of the largest media accounts in the state.
