The financial sector is currently leading the pack in advertising volumes in Australia, according to analysis by Melbourne-based Bigdatr.
The competitor intelligence business tracks ads across platforms including TV, digital, OOH, social media, and then assigns a value to create a total spend.
The brands driving advertising in Australia for February 2024:

- Medibank ($9.6 million)
- McDonald's ($8.8 million)
- NSW Government ($8.2 million)
- Telstra ($7.65 million)
- American Express ($7.6 million)
- Bupa ($7.4 million)
- Toyota ($6.9 million)
- Optus ($6.7 million)
- Westpac ($6.5 million)
