Sustainable shopping event Green Friday is partnering with Val Morgan Digital’s publication, The Latch, to help build presence around its second annual event November 18-21.

Green Friday will allow Australian consumers to shop sustainable and ethical offers with consideration and mindfulness. The event will feature Australian retailers and brands who have offers within the sustainable, re-commerce or the circular economy space.

The Latch will provide brands the platform to showcase where they are at on their sustainability journey and feature sustainable products, vetted by its editors on its ecommerce discovery platform, BuyGood.

Amanda Bardas, publisher, Val Morgan Digital, said: “Through our sustainability verticals and content, we’ve built a community of readers who are focused on discovering and learning how they can live a more environmentally friendly life, and drive change within their communities.

"This partnership with Green Friday supports this important message, shining a light on brands that give consumers the transparency of how sustainable their products are, helping guide them to make better choices when it comes to shopping”

Green Friday founder, Peter Krideras, said: “We can't wait to showcase incredible Australian brands who are committed to being on their sustainability journey. Partnering with The Latch to amplify the 'Buy Better' message during this year’s Green Friday will ensure we can build awareness of the wonderful progress retailers are making on their sustainability journeys.”

Content created by The Latch will be amplified on the VMO (Val Morgan Outdoor) network located within shopping centres, health clubs, and petrol and convenience stations throughout the nation.
