Facebook and The Guardian will be speaking at the half day Tackling Transparency forum, which aims to go further than debate the issues around transparency in media and advertising, but find some solutions.
Tim Egan, regional product marketing manager at Facebook, and Tony Bell, national digital sales director at The Guardian Australia, will all take part in the debate. Many more speakers are due to be announced shortly.
The half-day AdNews Live! Tackling Transparency forum will be a live, working summit where panelists will produce workable solutions to the heated issue that is transparency. Tickets are on sale now.
The forum will feature a yet to be announced keynote speaker from a major brand marketer, plus two debates. One concentrating on the issues facing digital publishers, networks and brands advertising in those spaces, and the second which will focus on agency relationships with their clients.
Ahead of the event, speakers from leading brands, agencies and publishers will submit a solution designed to help solve the transparency crisis.
These solutions will be debated on the day, with speakers and the audience voting for or against the mooted proposals.
The half day event will run on Tuesday 27 June 2017 at Monkey Baa, in Sydney’s Darling Quarter.
