Strategic and creative agency Colony Group has acquired Queensland-based digital agency Orange Digital for an undisclosed sum
The deal strengthens the group's full-service creative capabilities in Australia, offering strategy, creative, media and now an enriched digital offering.
The acquisition, the fourth brand to be added to The Colony Group, brings in 15 specialised digital experts, including a head of technology, Thierry Ruiz, and senior digital strategist, Rob Aldecoa.
The Colony Group, which has been operating for 15 years, now has 82 staff.
"This acquisition marks a key milestone in The Colony Group’s growth, with direct access to digital specialists, expands the agency’s capabilities to include performance marketing including website, app, and bespoke builds,” said group managing director Matt McCarthy.
“This enables us to better optimise growth for our clients through the full customer journey.”
Alan Paul, the former CEO of Orange, said this is an exciting time for clients and team members .
"The acquisition of Orange by Colony unlocks the potential of our business giving us the ability to deliver a broader range of services with some of the best talent in Australia,” he said.
