The Australian Magazine Awards are back to celebrate innovation in publishing

The 2017 Australian Magazine Awards are back to celebrate brilliance in publishing and for the first time recognising the Best Launch/Innovation/Brand Extension. 

This could be anything from a branded podcast to the launch of a new ad network.

We’ve also added B2B/Business Magazine Brand of the Year, B2B Event of the Year, B2B, and B2B Editor of the Year and Best Featured Article to recognise the premium, professionally produced content being created across the industry.

Entries are open from today until Tuesday 26 September. The full list of categories are below.

Last year, News Corp CDO Nicole Sheffield was honoured into the Hall of Fame and delivered a passionate address to the industry - to value the people that consume their products and content - not the ratings.

Who do you think should be nominated for Hall of Fame this year for their contribution to the magazine industry? We’re looking for people whose careers have been dedicated to magazine publishing and whose contribution has shaped the industry.

Previous inductees into the AMA Hall of Fame include Donna Hay (2015), Jackie Frank (2014), Julia Zaetta (2013) and Ita Buttrose (2012).

The Awards breakfast will be hosted on November 24 at Ovolo, Woolloomooloo.
