The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) has revealed the nominees for Best Use of an Australian Recording in an Advertisement.

Inspired by the Our Soundtrack Our Ads campaign, winners will be announced at the 2024 ARIA Awards November 20 at the Hordern Pavilion on Gadigal Land.

The nominees are:

  • Cancer Council: End The Trend, Bolster Group and Publicis Groupe
  • NRL & AFL: WARRIORS & STORYTELLERS, Fox Sports Australia
  • Qantas Olympics: Already Proud, Howatson+Company
  • realestate.com.au: Keep Moving, 72andSunny
  • Speedo International: Go Full Speedo, Collider/Mirimar

Nominees for the award, introduced last year, were determined by an academy of advertising and music sync experts to ensure a rigorous judging process.

ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd said the association is thrilled to see a range of agencies and their clients participate in the second year of this award.

"Advertising can not only play a huge role in the careers of Australian artists, using Australian music allows brands to connect with their markets more authentically with home-grown sounds," Herd said.

"Congratulations to all the nominees, and thank you for your support of Aussie music.”
