Channel Ten has revealed its first teasers for the next series of The Bachelor, starring ex-Wallaby Nick 'The Honey Badger' Cummins.

The first Bachelor series to star a celebrity, following on from the success of Sophie Monk as The Bachelorette, is taking a comedic route with its first teasers.

One spot shows Cummins riding a rainbow unicorn as John Paul Young's 'Love is in the Air' plays in the background.

The second pays homage to Oscar-winning film American Beauty, with a naked Cummins covered in rose petals, telling the camera to "go easy mate, I'm in my birthday suit here."

Cummins made headlines earlier this year when he was revealed as the star of Ten's popular reality dating show.

Since then Cummins has been spotted as the newest ambassador for Lion's mid-strength entrant, Iron Jack, which sold over 16 million litres in its first eight months, making it Australia’s biggest beer launch in a decade.

Cummins was also present for the launch of the brand's full strength option last week.

No stranger the ambassador role, Cummins is best known in the advertising industry as the face of Tradie Underwear.

When Channel Ten unveiled Nick, 'The Honey Badger' Cummins as its next Bachelor, it wasn't just single women's heart rates rising - sales in Tradie rose by double-digit figures.

Following the Bachie reveal, Cummins' photo was splashed across newspapers, magazines and online – many with him sporting Tradie undies.

The GM and owner of Tradie underwear, Ben Goodfellow, told AdNews at the time: “That made us known to a lot more Australians and sales spiked for sure. It was significant, well and truly in the double digits."

Now the smoke has cleared, Goodfellow plans to leverage the decision by Ten to shift the brand's marketing strategy towards the female consumer.
