Network Ten has revealed the make-up of its new in-house sales team via a mass job ad on LinkedIn and its own site.
The company is searching for roles across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane and jobs include strategy, digital sales, sponsorship and integration, airtime sales, partnerships, sales operations, trading and business support.
The national call out follows news last week that the now CBS-owned broadcaster would be ending its ad sales partnership with MCN, effective 1 January 2019.
"Over the next six months we will continue to update available roles to our careers page as we roll out each phase of recruitment," the ad states.
Roles vary from entry level sales positions, right through to management and include other roles such research and analytics, traffic operations and more.
The ad states that there has "never been a more exciting time to be part of the team", as the company looks to "take brave risks and push boundaries".
"Now a part of the CBS Corporation family, Network Ten is one of Australia’s leading entertainment and news organisations with assets across free to air television, online and digital platforms," the ad reads.
"Our sales team will comprise of a number of teams who will each perform a crucial role in maximising our revenue."
Ten's first LinkedIn post in seven months
Last week, Ten announced the establishment of a new advertising sales department, headed by Rod Prosser, currently executive GM, revenue and client partnerships, in the new role of chief sales officer.
Ten has not ruled out working with MCN to secure previous Ten sales team members from the agency as it transitions across to the new ad sales team.
Prosser previously told AdNews that the future of Ten's sales is still unclear, but it will be looking to recruit talent from across the industry.
Unable to disclose the size of the team, he says the network is looking to establish an "agnostic and bilingual" sales team, suggesting the must be able to work across both linear and digital sales, with work already underway to set up a team that can work fluidly across the entire Ten portfolio.
