TBWA Sydney has promoted Tanya Vragalis to general manager, and Lisa Brown has been elevated to director of production and creative services across the TBWA Group which includes TBWA, Eleven, FleishmanHillard, Integer, Fabric and BOLT Content.

“Tanya and Lisa embody the disruptive and collaborative spirit of TBWA, and it’s great to see great people step up in our business," TBWA Sydney managing director Nitsa Lotus says.

Vragalis joined TBWA in 2018 as head of business management and has led key client relationships including Amazon, Optus and CUB/Great Northern Brewing Co.

Brown joined TBWA in 2015, as head of TV production, before taking responsibility for all production across TBWA Group Sydney.

In 2018, Brown launched BOLT Content, an agile production unit that has now been launched in 12 other global markets across the TBWA Collective.

Most recently, Brown led the production team for Tourism New Zealand’s PLAY NZ.

TBWA Australia and New Zealand CEO Paul Bradbury says Vragalis and Brown have both played key roles in the the group's growth.

“While 2020 hasn’t been an easy ride for anyone, TBWA Sydney is coming into some very good form. We have three very significant new business wins to announce in coming weeks, and building on ‘PLAY NZ’ we have some exciting new work breaking over the coming months," Bradbury says.

"Tanya and Lisa have been at the heart of this momentum. Their leadership and commitment to innovation and change are driving the agency forward.”

Brown and Vragalis say they are both delighted to take on greater leadership roles within TBWA Sydney as it continues to evolve.

"We are winning new business and looking to expand into new and innovative areas – so it’s a great time to be here," Brown and Vragalis say in a statement.

"Our focus will be on continuing to develop a model that delivers to our clients’ evolving needs, that supports Evan’s creative ambitions, supports our teams and nurtures our culture.”

TBWA Sydney recently appointed Evan Roberts as chief creative officer, following the departure of Andy DiLallo.

Roberts joined the agency from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne where he had been executive creative director.
