Men's fashion retailer Tarocash has appointed Sydney-based Common Ventures as its creative agency, following a competitive pitch.

The independent creative agency’s first work has been to develop a campaign for the brand's Autumn/Winter range.

Tarocash, which has 118 stores across Australia and New Zealand and sells online, has tasked Common Ventures to communicate its upcoming fresh new Autumn/Winter 2020 range, by highlighting its quality, fabrics, functionality and practicality.

“Retail is tough - yet Tarocash, continues to buck the trend and we’re excited to be playing a part in continuing this momentum," Common Ventures co-founder James Crawley says.

"Our strength in youth marketing and understanding of Tarcoash’s audience helped us win the business.”

Tarocash head of creative Tara McCumiskey says the brand is looking forward to working with a "creative first, progressive agency" in 2020.

“They clearly understood our vision and the integrity of the Tarocash brand, and the new Autumn/Winter campaign reflects that," McCumiskey says.

Tarocash is the latest win for Common Ventures which also works with clients including Tourism NT, Taylors Wine, The Australian Federal Police, Contiki and The Sydney Opera House.
