Commercials for artificial intelligence companies and products will likely dominate the Super Bowl this year, but ads for beer, snacks and cars will still be in the mix, according to Fox.

This year’s broadcaster has reportedly been selling 30-second commercial spots for more than $US7 million.

Mark Evans, executive vice president of ad sales at Fox Sports, said both massive companies investing in AI and some AI-focused companies will be featured during the game.

“AI is coming. If it’s not already here in almost every business, it will be coming like a freight train,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.

“So you will see some more AI focused creative, which I think intuitively would be expected.”

While not confirmed, there has been speculation about Google, Microsoft and OpenAI buying commercials during the big game.

Fox confirmed the company has sold out its Super Bowl inventory earlier this month.

Last year’s broadcaster, CBS, pulled in nearly $700 million in advertising dollars from the NFL’s big game.

Super Bowl LIX, with an audience of more than 120 million, is being held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 9.

American rapper Kendrick Lamar is headlining the halftime show, said to be one of the biggest musical events of the year, sponsored by Apple Music.

The game itself will feature the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, who are hoping to make history by becoming the first team to win three in a row.
