Paramount+ is bringing back actor Patrick Stewart and a "hilarious ensemble" of some of the streaming platform’s talent and characters in a commercial for the Super Bowl.
This is the 15th installment of the Paramount+ A Mountain of Entertainment brand campaign and the third Super Bowl Spot from Paramount+.
The spot, via agency Droga5, has a team of adventurers trapped in an icy canyon on Paramount Mountain.
And Patrick Stewart (Star Trek: Picard) steps in to take the reins.
Stewart is joined by a mix of characters from across Paramount+ Originals and library titles including Drew Barrymore (The Drew Barrymore Show), Arnold (Hey Arnold!), Peppa Pig (Peppa Pig), Dora (DORA), Knuckles (Knuckles, voiced by Idris Elba), Jeff Probst (Survivor), Miami Dolphins Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, as music from Creed.
The clip is not yet available in Australia.
A raft of trailers have already been released HERE and HERE and HERE.
CBS, this year's broadcaster of the Super Bowl, has reportedly been selling 30 second commercial spots ranging from $US6.5 million to $7 million.
Last year's broadcaster, Fox, pulled in nearly $US600 million in ad dollars from the Super Bowl.
Super Bowl LVIII, with an audience of more than 100 million, is being held in Las Vegas February 11.
