UN Global Compact Network Australia (UNGCNA), the local chapter of the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, today announced the appointment of Sunita Gloster as a strategic sdvisor.
Gloster, the CEO Gloster Advisory, adds this role to her portfolio of work across advisory and non-executive roles. She is currently a board director at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, a senior adviser for Accenture Australia, an adviser to UN Women Australia and is a former CEO of the AANA (Australian Association of National Advertisers).
UNGCNA executive director Kylie Porter: “Sunita has long championed the role responsible business must play to influence positive outcomes for all stakeholders and the planet.
"Importantly, through her current advisory and board roles including Accenture and the Tech Council of Australia, she is at the forefront of the changing landscape for brands and businesses.
"That insight is critical to us in how we support Australian businesses to contribute impactfully to the 2030 Agenda and set a clear path to net zero by 2050."
In Australia, UNGCNA brings together participants of the UN Global Compact, including ASX 100 companies, other private and listed businesses, non-profits and universities, to advance the private sector’s contribution to sustainable development.
