News Corp Australia has appointed Stefania Accardo to the role of head of data technology capability for the Client Product and Strategy division.
Accardo will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of audience and data commercialisation products.
She leads a cross-functional team of business analysts, data scientists, and delivery managers to drive innovation, and partner with engineering delivery teams and external vendors.
Accardo will also focus on building new products to help customers plan, execute and measure ad campaigns effectively, while providing technical direction and guidance to onboard and monetise new audiences.
Director commercial data video and product Paul Blackburn said the role was critical to evolving the company’s audience and data commercialisation products.
“Central to our product offering is our audience insights and targeting platform, Intent Connect,” Blackburn said. “Stefania will further enhance the product and develop our audience and data product roadmap, ensuring enhanced outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.

With extensive experience in data, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, and strategy, Accardo has successfully implemented global marketing strategies bridging the gap between traditional market research and data technology.

Highly skilled in analysing first and third-party data to identify opportunities and develop marketing campaigns, Accardo’s expertise extends to working with major multinational brands such as PepsiCo, Nestle, Microsoft, J&J, Bridgestone, Colgate Palmolive, Mastercard, Visa, Kellogg's, Mazda, Bacardi and Optus.
Outside of the corporate world, she has been involved in data literacy projects and philanthropy, uncovering generational socio-cultural trends.
Accardo is also actively involved with IAB Australia, specifically with the Data Council where she will represent News Corp Australia.
