Stan has revealed its 2025 content lineup in a showcase event held at Linseed House, The Grounds, in Sydney.
The event was attended by Brooke Satchwell, Claudia Karvan, Natalie Erika James, Madeleine Madden, Michael Atkinson, Morgan Turinui, Matt Burke, Andrew Johns, Jeff Fenech and Tyson Pedro, with acting MD Dan Taylor leading the presentation.
Taylor said within a rapidly evolving and competitive landscape, Stan has reinforced itself as one of the most successful single territory SVODs in the world.
"From premium Stan Originals such as Black Snow and Thou Shalt Not Steal, which delighted critics and audiences alike, to acquired global hits like Yellowstone, Hacks and Twisted Metal, and a world-class sport offering including Rugby, Grand Slam Tennisand the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we continue to provide our subscribers with outstanding local and international content," he said.
"Over the past ten years, we’ve brought Australian stories to global audiences and solidified our position as the largest commissioner of Australian drama. We look forward to the next decade of screen storytelling on Stan.”
Content lineup
Stan’s chief content officer Cailah Scobie and head of originals Amanda Duthie announced 14 fresh commissions, with three dramas, six features and five documentaries.
Announcements include television series He Had It Coming, comedy-horror Gnomes, and Love Divided by Eleven, alongside feature films Whale Shark Jack, Saccharine, One More Shot, The Entertainment System is Down and The Beast In Me.
The slate also included Bump: A Christmas Film, premiering ahead of the 2025 summer season.
Five new original documentaries were announced as part of Stan’s investigatory Revealed slate – Craig Bellamy: Inside the Storm; Zyzz & Chestbrah: The Poster Boys; Joh: Last King of Queensland; Into the Night; and Death Cap.
The Revealed slate is a collaboration with documentary filmmakers, as well as Nine’s journalists from 60 Minutes, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald.
Casts were revealed for the Stan Original series Watching You, while a trailer for the new season of Scrublands and first look images for the eight-part Stan Original series Sunny Nights were also revealed.
Alongside the new Originals announced today, Stan will be the exclusive home of a slate of brand new acquired series, including crime drama Long Bright River, courtroom drama The Rainmaker, science fiction mystery The Institute, documentary Kevin Costner’s The West, and British espionage thriller Secret Service. Half Man is also coming to Stan.
Premiering soon as SVOD exclusives will be films The Apprentice, Memoir of a Snail and Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2.
Stan continues to be the exclusive home of other global TV series, including Hacks, two continuing spin-offs in The Walking Dead Universe - Dead City and Daryl Dixon - and Raising Kanan in the Power Book Universe. Other highlights in Stan’s exclusive slate include new seasons of From, Twisted Metal, Sullivan’s Crossing, Trigger Point, Billy the Kid, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and Alone.
The announcements complement an existing suite of titles on Stan, with recently launched originals Invisible Boys, Black Snow S2 and The Tattooist’s Son: Journey to Auschwitz now streaming, alongside exclusives Amandaland, Protection and Earth Abides.
Stan Originals still to premiere include Lord of the Flies, Ten Pound Poms S2, Poker Face S2, Love Triangle S3 and Revealed: Malka Leifer.
Scobie said following ten years of championing exceptional storytelling for Australian audiences, Stan continues to commission premium Original productions and acquire the best in international entertainment.
"From drama and comedies to features, documentaries and reality television, we remain committed to fostering emerging and established creatives and partnering with the world’s biggest studios and distributors to bring the most anticipated content to our subscribers," she said.

Sport lineup
Director of Stan Sport Ben Kimber, joined by Michael Atkinson, Morgan Turinui, Renee Gartner, Matt Burke, Andrew Johns, Jeff Fenech and Tyson Pedro unveiled the 2025 sports lineup.
For the first time in 12 years, the British & Irish Lions will return to Australia in 2025, uniting the top players from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales for a series against the Wallabies.
Stan Sport has also partnered with the world's fastest growing MMA organisation, the PFL (Professional Fighters League) to bring PFL to Australia, with the first PFL event in Australia is coming soon to Stan Sport.
Former UFC superstar Tyson Pedro will make his boxing debut at Nowhere to Run, as he steps into the ring to take on the undefeated Taimoor Khan for the WBC International Bridgerweight title in Pedro's hometown of Penrith.
The Super Rugby Pacific 2025 season will come to Stan Sport in 2025 alongside the Bledisloe Cup, the Six Nations, and the World Rugby Sevens series.
Showcased alongside rugby, Stan will continue its coverage of other global sporting events, including every match of the UEFA Champions League. Tennis fans can also look forward to comprehensive coverage of all four Grand Slams - the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
Kimber said Stan Sport has set new standards in sports broadcasting, not only with our marquee events, but also its ur deep commitment to the sports broadcast every week.
