MELBOURNE: Invista, the company behind the Stainmaster carpet brand, is re-launching its famous Pro Hart campaign, more than 20 years after it first ran, AdNews magazine revealed today.
Stainmaster decided to resurrect the iconic TVC which featured artist Pro Hart creating a masterpiece out of food, after research revealed the 1988 ad created by Young & Rubicam, was still loved by the Australian public.
The new campaign, which was created by agency Wilson Everard, features Pro Hart's nine year old grandson Harry in the artist role.
Invista marketing communications manager Brian Xerri said: "The market is very competitive and Stainmaster needed be reinvigorated. It's the most known carpet brand but we needed to reinvest in the brand."
Media buying for Stainmaster is handled by Mindshare.
The campaign launches on 6 June.
