Special Group wins AccorHotels

AccorHotels Australia has awarded Special Group its creative business for its portfolio of brands, following a competitive pitch.

The business has more than 10 brands in its stable including Sofitel, Mgallery by Sofitel, Pullman, Quay West, The Sebel, Novotel, Mercure and ibis.

Acting vice president of marketing and communications for AccorHotels Australia, Di Morgan, says: “We were impressed by Special Group’s insight into our fast-evolving industry as well as our breadth of brands from economy to luxury. The pitch team demonstrated a high level of creative thinking and we felt inspired to start a new partnership with such talented people.”

Special Group's CEO and founding partner, Lindsey Evans added that its a great opportunity for the agency to work across several brands and focus on, not just the communications, but also the overall hotel experience.

The win comes only a few months after the agency was named Emerging Agency of the Year at the AdNews Agency of the Year Awards.
