Egan has created work for brands Netflix, Converse, Cadbury, and UNICEF at agencies including Anomaly New York, Droga5, Publicis Mojo and DDB.
Most recently she was a creative director at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.
“Special Group is a world-class creative company which delivers projects recognised on a global scale," Egan says.
"To have the opportunity to be part of their journey is incredibly exciting. Getting to work with such a great creative and lovely human like Sian makes it even better.”
Binder has led creative projects for Cadbury, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Toyota and Aldi at advertising agencies such as Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, BMF, Droga 5, Wunderman, and M&C Saatchi.
“The opportunity to make work that works hard and travels far for a genuinely nice bunch of humans is really exciting," Binder says.
"Lea is an incredible creative talent and I couldn’t be prouder to be teaming up with her and the team at Special.”
Egan and Binder have been working with Special Group on a project basis and have been instrumental in helping the agency win new business including Bonds and Mutti.
“As well as having a ridiculously strong portfolio of creative work that both pushes boundaries and drives results, Lea and Sian are truly kind and ambitious people," Special Group Australia partner and chief creative officer Tom Martin says.
"Their passion for creating ground-breaking work will be an absolute asset to Special Group. They’re going to make a huge difference to both our creativity and our business.”
The creative duo joins Special Group Australia during a period of great momentum for the business, including the opening of its LA and Melbourne offices and winning the account for iconic Australian brand Bonds.
Special Group Australia works with both local and global brands including Carlton United Breweries, Bonds, Red Bull, Harris Farm Markets, Tourism New Zealand, Kayo Sports, Uber and Uber Eats.
