Snap Inc has appointed new staff across engineering, marketing and policy to support the growing Australian Snapchatter community.

The new hires to the Australia team include Alycia Emmerson as global brand experience manager, Ivan Lozano Mendez as ad research and insights lead, Robyn Merritt as consumer insights marketing lead and Alice Tynan as product marketing manager.

Earlier this year, Snap announced the appointment of Gareth Leeding as its APAC creative director and Haran Ramachandran as its ANZ creative lead, as well as Henry Turnbull as head of APAC public policy, and Clare Nash as business marketing manager.

Kathryn Carter, general manager of APAC, said: “The opportunities for Snap across the APAC region are tremendous.

“We continue to grow the team at a phenomenal rate, further increasing our capacity to deliver to brands, advertisers and partners.

“We’re excited to continue building the momentum in each of our APAC markets with such a talented group of individuals.”
