The streaming video on demand (SVOD) offerings are starting to take shape, with deals done by Presto and Quickflix fleshing out how the market will look in 2015.

This morning Presto, now a 50:50 joint venture between Foxtel and Seven, announced that Foxtel's Australian drama line-up would be hitting the platform.

This includes Wentworth, Satisfaction, Love My Way, Spirited, and Tangle.

Meanwhile, Seven said a suite of Australian drama would make its way onto the platform including Packed to the Rafters, All Saints, City Homicide, Home & Away, Winners & Losers and Always Greener.

Interestingly, this does not include A Place to Call Home, which Foxtel picked up after it was cancelled by Channel Seven.

Seven also announced international content offerings including several British shows to feature on Presto, and also told media that new US crime drama Aquarius, starring David Duchovny would also feature on the platform.

While there have been few international line-up announcements for Presto, Foxtel CEO Richard Freudenstein said HBO content such as Game of Thrones would “be a key differentiator” for Presto, when announcing its content deal with the US cable network last month.

However, other SVOD platforms currently hosting HBO content have said that its content would not all of a sudden be pulled from their services.

Meanwhile, Quickflix has announced that it will add another 5000 hours of content onto its platform as part of a major expansion of its offering to PlayStation customers.

Customers using Quickflix through either the PlayStation 3 or 4 will have access to Quickflix's premium subscription option, meaning customers will now have the option of stream TV content on a pay-per-episode basis, pay for seasons to own or pay for season passes.
