Sky News Australia will launch a direct-to-consumer streaming subscription service in early 2024, unlocking 24/7 access to its live news and opinion content across its digital platforms.
The SkyNews.com.au Streaming Subscription will be available for $5 per month, accessible through SkyNews.com.au or by downloading the Sky News Australia mobile and tablet app, to stream on the go or cast to a compatible TV.
Paul Whittaker, CEO of Sky News Australia, said the broadcaster has seen exceptional growth across its digital platforms over the past few years as more than eight million Australians seek out its content online each month.
“The launch of the SkyNews.com.au Streaming Subscription service is a pivotal moment in the evolution of our digital strategy that will provide our highly engaged and growing online audience around-the-clock access to quality news, opinion and documentary content across four dedicated news channels," he said.
