Senior Sydney creative team, Nathan Moore and Jermaine Rowe, have joined Showpony to bolster its creative horsepower across the Melbourne, Hobart and Adelaide offices.

The pair have been working together for six years across major brands including, LG, Woolworths, Football Federation Australia, Hennessey and H&R Block.

Showpony executive creative director, Parris Mesidis, said when people have been at this game for a while they come to value the power of chemistry and the agency hit it off with Moore and Rowe from day one.

"Easy going, super talented and emotionally stunted (see their work for Young Henry’s Ginger Beer), I know our clients are going to love working with these guys," said Mesidis.

Rowe said the pair freelanced with Showpony and loved its energy and approach to creative.

"They’re obsessed with doing great work and we felt that drive from the first brief. It’s not often you can say that about a busy agency," he said.

Moore said he picked up on the positive energy of the place too; a "cool client list" didn't hurt either.

"One of our first briefs was from Coopers Brewery, not a bad start. Also the agency ambition is through the roof and that's exactly what we’re up for," he said.

Showpony is a network of deliberately smaller, highly creative agencies with 45 staff across offices in Hobart, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Group managing director, Jamie Scott, said creative teams can be located anywhere geographically, as long as they’re closely connected to the client’s business.

“One of the things we learned during COVID is that distance shouldn’t be a barrier to creativity. Our approach is to connect the right talent with the right clients based on the opportunity, not the geography," said Scott.

"And hey, when it comes to physically catching up with clients, it's an easy plane ride to almost anywhere."
