Seven's Take Me Out debuts to low numbers over first two nights

Seven's newest dating show Take Me Out, hosted by comedian Joel Kreasley debut to 604,000 and 513,000 metro viewers over Monday and Tuesday night respectively, while Nine's The Block won both nights with over one million viewers for each episode.

Take Me Out, was down 15% compared with its Monday launch episode, which debut fourth in its timeslot.

The Take Me Out launch was down 29% compared with its timeslot average on Seven. It's the second show from Seven in recent weeks to debut with low ratings, with Dance Boss generating 599,000 viewers on its first night.

However, the show is currently the number one program on 7Plus, the network's broadcast video on demand platform.

Overnight both Nine and Ten's primetime programs beat the new dating show, with The Block and Australian Survivor drawing in 1.02m viewers and 668,000 viewers respectively.

In the evening slot True Story with Hamish and Andy drew in 744,000 viewers, while Seven's 800 Words recorded 473,000.

In the overnight main channel race, Nine was the outright winner, with a main channel share of 21.9%.

Seven came in second with a 17.3% share, followed by Ten with a 12.6% share.

Monday night ratings

The Block was the dominant program in the primetime slot, with 1.06m viewers as the next closest program in primetime was Ten's Australian Survivor, which drew in 640,000 viewers.

In the evening slot, the ABC proved the victor, as its broadcast of the evening news and 7.30 both drew more than 700,000 viewers.

Ten also had success in the evening slot, as celebrity quiz show Have You Been Paying Attention? Drew in 774,000 viewers.

In the overnight main channel race, Nine was the outright winner, with a main channel share of 21.6%.

Seven came in second with a 16.1% share but was closely followed by the ABC, which took a 15.2%. Ten came in fourth, managing a 13.8% share.
