Sell a paperclip, score an internship

The Monkeys is giving two students the chance to get their foot in the door with a 10-week internship program – and it could be as simple as selling a paperclip.

To apply, students must create an ad on eBay to sell a humble paperclip to the highest bidder. You'll be judged on how creative, provocative and effective your ad is.

Auctions can only last five days. What you do with the money you earn is up to you, but The Monkeys is encouraging people to donate it to charity.

“We are looking forward to meeting and working with Australia’s new breed of creative talent and I’m sure the application challenge will provoke some fun, curious and possibly absurd results,” The Monkeys co-founder and chief creative officer Justin Drape says.

The intern program is now live at http://www.monkeyedu.com.au/

To be eligible, students must be required to complete an internship as part of their Australian tertiary education.

More details to come once The Monkeys can reveal its new interns.
