SBS announced the appointment of Emily Griggs as Head of Entertainment and Food.
Griggs, as part of SBS’s Unscripted commissioning team, will oversee SBS’s diverse commissioned entertainment and food shows.
She joins SBS from BBC Studios where she was Head of Development and Content and oversaw development and production of various shows, including SBS series’ Mastermind and Celebrity Mastermind.
“SBS celebrates diversity and different perspectives which is inspiring," she says.
"I feel fortunate to be joining a network that entertains but also encourages greater acceptance and elicits change. I look forward to joining the team, and commissioning engaging, educational and entertaining content that connects audiences with SBS’s unique purpose."
Her credits include a variety titles and formats, including The Chefs’ Line, The Secret Life Of 4 Year Olds, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Dancing with the Stars, and Married At First Sight, and much more.

Griggs starts August 30.
