Rubicon Project has appointed Simone Krakowiak to lead its Australia and New Zealand operations, filling a spot that has been open for almost a year.

She replaces Adele Hanzlicek, who left in December. International MD Jay Stevens also left in March

Formerly sales and development manager at mobile video exchange Vdopia, Krakowiak's background is in mobile video and she has a strong network across trading desks, DSPs, SSPs and tech and mobile vendors.

She is tasked with growing adoption of Rubicon's automation platform and will report to JAPAC managing director Rick Mulia.

She has also previously worked in commercial roles at Big Mobile and Sensis Media Smart.

Krakowiak says: “I’m thrilled to be joining Rubicon Project at a such an exciting time in the company’s history. I am confident my background in digital, with a particular focus on mobile, will hold me in good stead for not only understanding, but helping our customers grow as they cut through an increasingly complex and noisy market.”
