MasterChef has taken out the top spot in all key demographics overnight, drawing in an audience of 920,000, with last night's episode featuring Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles.
Last night, contestants on the show were told they could be cooking for the royal couple.
Ten spent most of the week hyping the event through teasers and promos, with Camilla chatting to host Gary Mehigan throughout the program and Charles being served ants as one of the dishes.
The show took out the top spot for the second night in a row, beating Seven's House Rules, which had 748,000 viewers overnight, but failed to capture the main channel audience share from the network.
Seven won the night with a main channel audience share of 19.1%, followed by Nine with a 16.1% share, narrowly beating Ten, which held 15.8%.
Tonight will see MasterChef go head-to-head with House Rules again. However, eyes will be transfixed on Nine's hit reality dating program Love Island Australia, which airs its final episode tonight on 9Go.
The show has continued to hold top spots in OzTam's video measurement player (VPM) rating list, as last night's episode became the network's most-streamed live non-sport program, notching a live VPM of 25,000.
ABC also aired its final episode of Gruen last night, drawing an audience of 688,000, down on its season premiere, which drew an audience of 734,000 viewers.
