REA Group has appointed Rob Hudson to lead the Group’s media sales team in the role of national sales director (media).
The promotion comes as yesterday, former director of sales (media) Paul Bates announced his departure from the position, moving to Cartology as GM - agency sales.
Hudson joined the business in 2018 and has since held both state and national sales team leadership positions and has more than 15 years' experience in the media sales industry.
Hudson will officially commence in his new role this week and the new role will see him also take charge of the programmatic and brand partnership teams.
Hudson said he is thrilled to take on his next challenge at REA.
"I’m excited to lead the team through the next evolution," Hudson said,
“As a team, we will continue to innovate as we find creative ways to support and deliver the most value to our media customers, including a particular focus on advancing our unique data product suite.
"It's a great time to be stepping into the role, with some exciting product developments in our media offering rolling out over the coming months.”
Kul Singh, REA Group chief customer officer, said he was delighted to welcome Hudson to the role.
