RMIT Pitch Night returns for 13th year

RMIT University’s advertising course is set to hold its 13th annual Pitch Night event on October 17th with tickets now on sale.

This year, the theme is “Hidden Aces”.

Pitch Night is a networking and recruitment gala that introduces RMIT Advertising’s graduating cohort to a host of industry professionals, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent and ambition, and create meaningful industry relationships.

The student-led team planning the event has branded this year’s cohort “Advertising Aces” and are asking the agencies in attendance to discover the creative talent they have been honing through the course. This year’s cohort boasts promising talent, including three ‘Future Lions 2023’ shortlisted teams and several award winners.

Recently appointed chair of RMIT's Industry Advisory Committee, Matt Stoddart, ECD at TBWA\Melbourne and Eleven, said he's excited for this year's cohort.

"RMIT's students will be shaping the future of the industry, so naturally I’m buzzing to play a role in fostering their creative development," he said.

As students are finalising their folios, RMIT is encouraging agencies to not ‘leave talent to chance’  and explore the sponsorship opportunities in the hunt for their next ‘Ad Ace’. Dentsu, 10 Feet Tall, TBWA and By All Means have already committed to the event as exclusive top-level sponsors.

For agencies looking to support the next generation of advertising talent, information on sponsorship pricing and benefits is available on the Pitch Night website.
