Independent creative agency Richards Rose has entered into a three year marketing agreement with charity Thread Together.

Richards Rose is tasked with developing Thread Together’s brand strategy, brand identity and marketing communications across all channels.

Thread Together, founded in 2012, is based on the simple idea to donate rather than dispose of unsold clothing. Today, Thread Together clothes thousands of people across the country, every week and partners with hundreds of fashion brands, a network of charities & social service agencies and thousands of volunteers.

Anthony Chesler, CEO of Thread Together, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

"At Thread Together, our mission has always been to clothe and empower those who need it most and protect our planet," Chesler said.

"Partnering with Richards Rose will help us convey and amplify our message, engage our supporters, and drive awareness for our cause on a larger scale allowing us to have a greater impact on the lives of the less fortunate and our imperilled planet.

Digby Richards, CEO Richards Rose, said Thread Together is one of the most enterprising charities out there.

"Striving to solve two major issues – the overload of new fashion with over 20% ending up in landfill plus helping the thousands of vulnerable people in need of clothing and the self-worth that new clothes, in particular, bring," Richards said.

"Our team are committed to this partnership through volunteering time, skills and care to help extend the presence and impact of Thread Together across the country."
