Perth agency Rare has landed the Cash Converters account, following a competitive pitch.
The pitch process kicked off earlier this year after 303 MullenLowe Perth and Cash Converters parted ways, ending a 10-year relationship.
303 MullenLowe declined to pitch for the account, leaving Marketforce and Rare as the two agencies vying for the account, AdNews understands. Cash Converters has now confirmed it named Rare as its agency.
The creative account was tipped to move to Rare with Cash Converters CEO Mark Reid having a long-standing relationship with the brand.
The pitch process was led by Alice Manners, who joined Cash Converters as its chief of digital, marketing and product after less than two weeks at 303 MullenLowe Perth.
Manners was also employed at Marketforce for less than three months after leaving her post as CEO of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
At the end of last year, Dentsu Mitchell Perth won the $8 media account for Cash Converters, which previously sat with 303 MullenLowe.
