QMS has become the official Outdoor Media Partner of the Australian Olympic Teams for Paris 2024 and the 2026 Olympic Winter Games to be held in Milan-Cortina, Italy.

The agreement will see QMS work hand-in-hand with the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) and all its Partners in the lead-up and throughout the Games in Paris.

The multi-year partnership will see the AOC look to engage, inspire and unite Australians to get involved and celebrate the Olympics by utilising QMS’ premium digital out of home (DOOH) network nationally, including its new City of Sydney street furniture network.

QMS CEO John O’Neill said: “As Australia prepares for the Paris 2024 Olympics, we are honoured and excited to enter this agreement with the Australian Olympic Committee.

"The Olympic movement represents a set of values, principles and behaviours to which all organisations and people can aspire.”

QMS chief customer officer Mark Fairhurst said: “For QMS’ partners, the Olympics represent a remarkable opportunity to collaborate around important themes including inclusiveness, excellence, participation and community, building strong audience engagement and attention beyond the boundaries of sport.

“The exclusive opportunities to work with the AOC, its Partners and QMS on the greatest event in the world is one that cannot be missed – and one that will reflect the true capabilities of our business and digital out of home including agility, flexibility, hyper-local targeting and real-time results. We look forward to sharing details of the exclusive DOOH opportunities available to Olympic Partners in early 2023.”

The AOC’s CEO Matt Carroll said: “We are delighted to welcome QMS to the AOC partnership family, as we look towards Paris 2024. As our exclusive OOH Team Partner, we look forward to working with them to inspire community engagement across our all of our Olympic activities including the #HaveaGo initiative which drives grassroots participation in Olympic sports in partnership with our Partner family.”

Through its partnership, QMS will also activate employee engagement programs nationally that bring to life the values of the Olympics and further support its commitments to diversity, inclusion and belonging under its Q-Cares pillar.
