Publicis Worldwide Australia is continuing its digital boost, with digital creative agency Pusher joining the business.
It's the latest in a raft of changes for Publicis, with the network announcing in July that it was tying up with CRM and digital agency Cubed, and with mobile specialist business Front Foot in October.
The new arrangement with Publicis will see Pusher's 27-strong staff move into Publicis' Sydney and Brisbane offices. Pusher will also open a Melbourne office under the agreement.
Last month Publicis CEO Andrew Baxter told AdNews: “It's no secret that the Publicis Group has an aim to have 50% of our business digital in each market around the world within the next couple of years.”
Publicis said the agreement with Pusher is the next step in providing clients with full capabilities in end-to-end customer engagement.
Under the deal, Pusher will retain its name and continue to be managed by founders Kim Hopwood and Michael Crebar, who will report to Baxter. The agreement is effective immediately.
“Pusher's arrival within our group is the perfect complement to our existing digital capabilities and means that the Publicis Sydney team is now close to 50% digital, which is exactly the shape you want an agency to be, heading into 2015,” Baxter said.
