PUMA has unveiled an billboard in the heart of Melbourne to commemorate Collingwood player Scott Pendlebury’s 400th AFL game.
"PUMA and Scott’s partnership began in 2015, and we’re proud to say we were there for game 200 and now game 400. Scott embodies everything PUMA stands for, and there is a reason why this partnership is so special to us. We congratulate Scott on this truly remarkable achievement," PUMA director of marketing Neysa Goh said.
Pendlebury was recognised with a billboard located at the corner of Bridge and Punt Roads, Richmond, opposite the MCG.
He was also presented with a special pair of PUMA Future boots, one in black and one in white, by his teammate, Jordan De Goey, which he will wear for his 400th game.
Developed by creative agency, Bursty, with media managed by Havas, the billboard will be live for one week and was tactically placed so fans will see the artwork heading to and from Pendlebury's 400th on Saturday.
To launch the billboard Bursty coordinated a media conference with Pendlebury that has seen the creative profiled on 7 News, 9 News, 10 News, AFL.com.au, Fox Sports, the Herald Sun and various other social media pages.
