Publicis Media ANZ has appointed Helena Snowdon to the role of head of new business and marketing.
Snowdon replaces Mandy Henry who has left the organisation after almost 10 years to pursue other opportunities.
Snowdon has spent the majority of her career on global media agency executive teams leading new business and marketing for PHD, Maxus and iProspect.
Previously based in the UK, Snowdon relocated to Australia to take on the position of managing director at Mindshare Melbourne. Most recently she has led her own business development consultancy firm in Sydney.
Publicis Media ANZ chairman John Preston says the holding group was extremely excited to have someone of Snowdon's calibre driving business development.
"Along with her broad experience as a project leader for agency operations and marketing communications, she joins us with a proven track record of leading new business pitches for some the largest advertisers in the world, and achieving significant global growth for several agencies," Preston says.
“On behalf of Publicis Media, I would also like to thank Mandy for her contribution over the years, and we wish her the very best of luck for the future.”
Publicis Media continues to go through a transformative period, with the media agency holding group still without a dedicated CEO.
Most recently, Publicis Media ANZ's agencies Spark Foundry and Blue 449 merged, taking on the Spark Foundry name.
Last week it was revealed that Spark Foundry CEO Sue Squillace would be exiting the business to joined Dentsu Aegis Network-owned agency Carat in October.
"Publicis Media presents a progressive and transformative model which opens up huge opportunities for clients. I’m looking forward to playing my part in communicating this message and meaning across ANZ, and driving further impact and growth for the business overall," Snowden says.
