Print & Publishing Lions shortlist: Aussie hopes rest on Clems' dog flowers

By AdNews | 20 June 2016

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne's campaign about dog breath is the only Australian entry to be shortlisted in the Print & Publishing Lions category.

The campaign, for Pedigree DentaFlex, builds on the brand's Feed the Good platform and includes outdoor and radio spots.

It descibes what dogs put in their mouths before giving their owner a kiss. The flowers, 'Old English Sheeprose, Chow Chow Blossom and White Samoyed Gerbera' are a clever play on how dog's breath doesn't smell.

New Zealand had a couple of entries in the catergory, FCB's It's Not OK campaign about domestic violence for Paradise Hill was shortlisted for Original Print and Publishing: Content, as well as Use of Print and Publishing: Offiline.

Y&R NZ's accliamed McWhopper campaign for Burger King was shortlisted for the Copywriting category.

Here are the other Cannes Lions shortlists that have been announced.

Direct Lions shortlist: DDB Sydney set to conquer - 24 Aussie finalists

Promo and Activations Lions shortlist: GAYNZ could be crowned queen

Radio Lions shortlist: Five Aussie agencies make it through
